Most methods for quick weight loss have little basis in science and thus end up not working or causing damage in the process. If you're trying to lose weight quickly but safely, there are some things you can do to speed up the process. Do remember that extreme diets are always dangerous, and you should always consult a doctor if you have a medical condition.
While Atkins may be the most popular low-carb diet out there, there are numerous versions making the rounds, some of which are not as strict and a lot healthier. Diets low in carbs and high in proteins cause quick loss for a simple reason: carbohydrates absorb liquid, causing you to bloat and thus weight more. Also, carbs tend to spike your blood sugar, making you crave more carbs a few hours later. Proteins, on the other hand, are filling, so you usually eat less of them because you end up feeling full sooner. Proteins also take longer to digest, making your body burn more calories during the digestive process.
there is no quick fix. even if you do manage to drop that much in short time which you can only do in unhealthy way -you risk on gaining much more back.
This is my theory and this is what works for me. Everyone is different so it may need to be adjusted to your own personal needs.
Diets have come and gone and a new one will be invented tomorrow promising you everything and delivering very little. That is because they are considered something you go on and then go off. In other words, they are temporary. That is not to say they are useless just that they will never give you continued success unless you change some things permanently.
Diets have their place in your weight loss goals. First of all, they can be beneficial to jump starting your metabolism. Kind of a fire starter if you will. A jump-start will give you more energy and the initial weight loss can boost your self-confidence.
